The Primary Agriculture credit co-operative society Ltd,. Beekanahlli, jyothi nagara Post, chikamagalur Taluk and District, Society was established in the year 2014. The Society was covering 17 villages/area’s (Beekanahalli, Hampapura, Balehalli, Karkipete, Inahalli, Huliyarahalli, Ramanahalli, Gowri kaluve, Basavanahalli, Kempanahalli, Halenahalli, Kuppenahalli, Housing Board, Naraguddanahalli, Kalyana Nagara, Jyothi Nagara, Chandra Nagara) The major crops of the villages are Areca Nut, Coca Nut, Coffee, pepper, and vegetables are Patota, Tamota, cabbage, etc.,

The total area of the villages is 5,522 ha of which 3,500 ha is under cultivation. About 1,860 ha is under minor irrigation i.e., through bore wells. There are 2,180 agricultural families in the area, of which 1,160 are small and marginal farmers, 642 are medium farmers with 2 to 4 ha land holding and remaining 378 are big farmers with more than 4 ha lands. Among them farmers belonging to SC/ST small and marginal farmers are 140.

The Society has obtained a license from Karnataka Co-operative Act – 1959 And Rule -1960 on 30/07/2014 under Section 04 of Karnataka Co-operative Act – 1959.

Chairman's Message

The Contribution of Co-operative societies are playing major role in the progress of our Villages and nation. The Primary Agriculture credit co- operative society Ltd,. Beekanahlli Has been serving the Common Man since 2014. Our society has been at the forefront of farmer welfare. Our society has given maximum priority for farming sector and come up with innovative schemes to address farmer’s needs, thereby improving their lives.

Our society is fully enabled on Computerization.

At first outset, with great pleasure to say that my colleagues (Member of Board of Directors) and staff of the Society are actively cooperating me for increasing our Salient features related with the interest of the society. I am very much thankful to them and appreciating for their fruitful efforts for the growth of our Society activities / products which are helpful to increase my energy. Please remember, without team work, can not achieve any target.

We are thankful to our Share holders, Account holders, Customers, Depositors, Borrowers as well as our well wishers who are supporting our Society.
